Aksana Stahievitch

The musical career of Aksana Stahievitch began in Minsk (Belarus). She graduated from Republican College of Arts in 1999 after studying with Lilia Galochkina and then entered Zoya Kacharskaya’s class at the Belarusian Academy of Music.

Aksana received her Master of Music Degree at the Conservatory of Amsterdam studying with professors Håkon Austbø and Naum Grubert. During her studies Aksana was awarded with prizes at several international piano competitions.

Aksana participated in masterclasses by Peter Eicher, Igor Lazko and Naum Grubert. Her Master Research was on topic: 'Scriabin and Debussy. Parallel roads in life and music.', which was successfully presented at Conservatory of Amsterdam.

Since 2003 Aksana is giving piano lessons. She has a great desire for doing it.

Aksana plays recitals as well as chamber concerts, with soprano Aleksandra Anisimovicz, bariton Iurii Samoilov, and 'quatre mains' with Vital Stahievitch and Maria Prokofieva in different halls in The Netherlands.

In 2007 Aksana did piano coaching for opera "Medea" and was an accompanist at Masterclasses for singers given by Ronald Klekamp.

In August-October 2009 Aksana has been working with Amsterdam en Volendam Opera choirs.
